Photos From an Intimate Cottage Wedding

KRISTEN + BRANDON

CALABOGIE, ONTARIO

Brandon and I met through my brother, who were friends from high school. We were around each other for years but did not become close until later on when my roommate moved out unexpectedly, and my brother ended up moving in with me. As Brandon was around a lot, we quickly got to know each other, soon becoming close friends, and after a while, we started dating. A few years later, a dog, and two Covid delays, we married at my family cottage in Griffith in September 2022 - with my brother performing the ceremony - and both of our dogs in attendance!

Being a hobby photographer myself, we knew this would be the most important wedding vendor for us, and we selected our date knowing we wanted Union Eleven. Because we were having a small and intimate wedding with 27 guests, we were drawn to Union Eleven because of their style emphasizing candid over posed shots - so the photos genuinely represent our wedding day.

We wanted the images to tell a story, with some unique artistic shots as well. We could not have asked for anything more! Even without a videographer looking back at our photos reminds us of all the laughter, emotion, and love that was with us on our wedding day - and we are so happy we entrusted them to capture our wedding.
