Bianca and her friends went on a Spring Break trip to Punta Cana in 2011 and met a group of guys that were also from Ottawa. When she got home, she eventually met Randy at one of their “Punta Cana reunion” gatherings. They hit it off instantly, exchanged Blackberry pins (bbm), and the rest was history.

They dated for 10 years before Randy finally asked her to marry him on a trip to Jamaica in 2019. Randy and Bianca have a lot in common, like their love for food, movies, and working out. At the end of the day, they are truly best friends and keep their spark alive by being adventurous with lots of laughter.

Wedding planning was difficult during the pandemic. We had to move our wedding date twice due to the continuous lockdowns we faced. Derek was really flexible and understanding through all the changes we threw it at him (including a venue change) and we can’t thank him enough. When we first met Derek, Randy and I both felt an immediate connection like he was our friend. This was so important to us since neither of us were thrilled about taking photographs. He made us feel comfortable and guided us through the whole day. Our photos turned out better than we could have ever imagined, and we are so grateful to have worked with him and his team!

We would not hesitate to recommend Union Eleven to anyone who wants a true professional to create the most amazing photography experience! We can’t wait to work with Derek and the team again in the future.
