Giuseppe (Joey) and I got engaged thanksgiving weekend in 2019 and we planned our wedding for September 19, 2020. When news about the pandemic first hit, we were told that our wedding date was far enough to not have to postpone it. However, as months passed, we were filled with uncertainty about the ceremony and reception, but we still wanted to keep our wedding date in order to start our life together as husband and wife. So, we decided to keep it and simply prayed that things would fall into place and everyone would remain healthy.

The week leading up to our wedding day was very stressful as so many changes were being made in order to ensure that we were following the provincial and city rules. Thankfully, our prayers were heard, as we were able to have some of our close family and friends celebrate with us and some beautiful pictures captured as a memory of our special day.

We decided to hire Union Eleven after seeing the work that they had done on capturing the events of some of our family and friends. Courtney and William were amazing to work with and the pictures that they captured were above and beyond what we expected. We had the chance to work with Courtney for a family photo shoot and an engagement prior to our wedding, and from the very beginning she was very easy going, down to earth and made all of our shots look and feel natural. Our experience with both Courtney and WIlliam was exceptional and we absolutely loved the shots. Some of our family and friends who were not able to make it said that the pictures made them feel as if they were there.
