Nikki + Justin | Wedding at the Notre-Dame and Hilton Lac-Leamy | Ottawa/Gatineau

When I first met Nikki and Justin I instantly felt a good connection with them. They both were smiling ear to ear and you could tell they were going to be super fun to work with.

The day started off where Justin had his closest friends meet him at the rink to play a good old game of shinny. Hockey is one of my favourite sports and it was awesome to photograph Justin and his buddies battling it out.

After the game we headed over to Justin’s parents' home, where the groomsmen got dressed into their fancy tuxes. Once the guys were all suited up, I checked in over at Nikki’s parents' place, where the girls were prepping for the day.

The wedding ceremony was at the historic and beautiful Notre Dame Cathedral Basilica of Ottawa, followed by a very entertaining reception at Hilton Lac-Leamy.
