Hannah + Miguel | Engagement Shoot | Ottawa, ON

This winter season, I've had the pleasure of shooting some fun and creative engagement sessions. When I talk with my couples, I try to figure out something different we can do for the shoot. Since the coverage can run for up to two hours, having them hold hands and kiss can only last for so long before you get the same type of photo over and over again.

Hannah and Miguel got cozy at home, making some tasty arepas (a traditional Venezuelan breakfast dish), playing an afternoon video game, and having a pillow fight before heading out and braving the cold Ottawa climate.

Whether it's taking photos of your children, your pets, or traditions that mean something to you; it's always nice to add a little something personal to an engagement shoot. Thanks to Hannah and Miguel for allowing me to capture what a typical Sunday might look and feel like for them!
